The couplings are illustrative rather than measured; regions keep their place and colour in every state, so switching states moves the threads and nothing else. The scan is the MNI152 template under the AAL-116 parcellation. Functional regions and anatomical parcels are not the same objects: eleven of the fourteen regions here are drawn on the parcels they sit inside, seven of those only approximately, and three have no parcel at all.
